I had to wait about fifteen minutes with the customer service representative on the\u00a0line\u00a0so the cable box\u00a0could reset\u00a0and we could test another recording. We started chatting to pass the time and at one point in the conversation she told me she liked to read more than watch television. I told her I was the\u00a0same way and\u00a0asked what kind of books she likes,<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI like a book that really pulls me into the story and\u00a0I like books that have\u00a0history in them.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>I told her I had just written a book like that and told her a little about PROVENANCE.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIs there a Kindle edition?\u201d she asked. I said yes. She was\u00a0silent for a few minutes then said,<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI just bought your book. The first line reads, \u201c\u2019Hank, run!\u2019 was the last thing he heard Junior say.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>First time I&#8217;ve ever been thankful for a cable company glitch. Sold a book <em>and<\/em> got my DVR working again.
